NSW State Legislation Information

All NSW employers must have a workers compensation policy if they pay more than $7500 in wages per annum, employ an apprentice or trainee, or are part of a group for premium purposes. In NSW, Insurers act as authorised workers compensation Scheme Agents of WorkCover NSW. All NSW Scheme Agents / insurers calculate premiums in the same manner according to a formula determined by WorkCover NSW.
